Nothing can fix a gloomy week but food πŸ§†πŸ₯˜

We in Mumbai had an extremely gloomy week with heavy rains throughout. And already due to the Corona Virus we are at home most of the time, but the rains actually felt like another lockdown.

In this time, I utilised it the most by cooking some delicious dishes.

Dry sweet and sour Potato Paneer
Methi or Fenugreek and Onion Paratha
Potato and Bell Peppers in Gram Flour
Potato Cheese Dumplings. Yes, I know they are a little shapeless, but trust me; they were extremely delicious.
Mixed Vegetables in Creamy Tomato Curry
Healthy hot Tomato Garlic Soup
Tasty Beetroot Soup

Noodles in White Sauce and the veggies include Cauliflower and Chickpeas. The most tastiest dish I made this week.
We went to the Vet and Junior met his Mamu (Mumma’s brother) after 4 months and he just couldn’t stop admiring him 😍
He was so excited after meeting Mamu, that by the time we came home, he had drained all his energy and I had to cool him down.
Checkout his excitement πŸ˜†
Shamelessly gave him a shameless Vanilla Ice Cream 😜

Walk in the rain under one umbrella ❀️

Gloomy Week 😷

In Mumbai, it has been raining heavily from the past 3 days, because of which I couldn’t take Junior for a walk. I tried giving him his required exercise and burnt his energy at home only as much as I could. However, we still had a fun week.

The featured image is of sweet and tangy Risotto.

This combination is an age old combination and the best one when it is raining. Masala Chai and Pakoras. It literally changes your mood from gloomy to energetic.
Made Paneer Tikka. Since I do not have a tandoor, I marinated this for 2 hours and then cooked in the oven.
Homemade Hummus and Pita Bread. I made Pita Bread for the first time in my life. And it turned out to be good (that’s what people said 😜)
Made a Bengal Gram Paratha loaded with veggies and flaxseed.
Painted this as an expression for love. Every place is the right place to love ❀️
Can you see this cute boy’s tipsy torvey teef!!!
